PCGH history: The most important female characters in games (112 women inside!)

After our initial story PCGH takes another look back onto the most important female characters in video games. We've found 112 ladies in the archives that changed the world of video gaming - at least they starred as prominent parts in remarkable games.

Our history story expands over 26 years. Women act in leading parts, sidekicks or even as real models like in the NfS series. From Ms. Pacman to Laverne, from Lara to Alyx: We've uncovered (hopefully!) every major female attraction. You will find 112 ladies in our gallery. This is probably not the ultimate, but hopefully the near-ultimate list.

So let's have some fun with our totally subjective warp through video games history. Just click on one picture, and the gallery opens up.
