Right in time for the Games Convention 2008 we are able to deliver the first video of Rage in high quality. The id Tech 5 Engine based game is just impressive.

Rage is supposed to be a mixture of Ego Shooter, Action Adventure and Racing game, with the shooter having a 60 percent majority. Rage is developed by id Software and published by Electronic Arts. The story is set in a post apocalyptical environment, where the player rebels against authority.

For this purpose there are a lot of things left by prior inhabitants, like a parking meter as a weapon or old tires as body armor.
Rage will be available for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. A date is not set, yet.
