Eight versions of the Geforce 9400 GT will be offered by Sparkle. There will be different memory equipments, cooling solutions and slot options. The customer can choose between 512 and 1,024 MiByte VRAM, active or passive cooling and DVI or HDMI connector. The clock speeds are the same for all models. The 55 nanometer GPU runs at 550 Megahertz, while the VRAM is set to effective 800 MHz. The video memory is connected with a 128 bit interface.
The 16 streaming processors are clocked to 1,400 Megahertz. According to 3DMark Vantage benchmarks - made by Sparkle - the 512 MiByte version of the 9400 GT is 55 percent faster than an 8500 GT. DirectX 10 compatibility, support for Physx and CUDA are additional features.
