Altec Lansing introduced their first 2.2 PC speaker system with integrated subwoofer at the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin).

Each speaker of the extraordinarily designed audio system FX3022 has an integrated dual 4 inch subwoofer. They are said to create quite a good bass tone, although they are not that big and the good sound in the higher frequencies is the job of the 1.5 inch speakers. The cone shape of the FX3022 is supposed to improve the sound, too: electrical waves and distortions are supposed to be eliminated. The black version of the Altec Lansing FX 3022 is said to be available for about €130 from October.
