there is a benchmark available for crysis,which most people seem to think is the holy grail as far as what g cards should aspire to(god knows how any 8800gtx's nvidia sold on it supremacy in that particular benchmark)..however,from what ive read crysis had such a flawed engine that it shouldnt really mean much(perhaps if i had 2 280 gtxs in sli i would be saying differwent lol).
crysis warhead though seems to be pretty optimised..provided(as shown on this site) that you stick with xp,have 4 gbs of memory,preferably a penryn cpu and at least a 4750 hd...which wont break the bank for most people.

Yeah Crysis is stunning visually.

Crytek should compete with Futuremark and release Crysis as a benchmark!

We took the screenshots on a system with an Intel E8200 @ 4.2 GHz, 4 GiByte DDR2 1000 RAM and a heavily overclocked Geforce 8800 GTS 640 MiByte (G80 GPU). The framerate usually was between 5 to 7 fps.
