For some weeks now the vendors of Radeon HD 4800 graphics cards offer their products with individual cooling solutions. We took four HD 4800 models from Force3D, Gainward, HIS and Palit to the PCGH Test Lab.
Initially AMD didn't allow the vendors to produce HD 4800 series cards that differ from the reference design. But this restriction has been cancelled some weeks ago and the producers introduced their own creations. We took a closer look at four versions and checked them for loudness and temperatures.
