PC games in the Star Wars Universe (part 2: From 2000 until today)

Author: Alexander Bohnsack (Oct 30, 2008) - In 1983 the first Star Wars based PC game was released. Since then many game developers and studios utilized the attractive license.

Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, 2001 (picture: Mobygames.com) - With the Age of Empires Engine this game was quite good and delivered some real-time strategy fun in the Star Wars universe.

Besides real jewels like X-Wing, Tie Fighter or Jedi Knight there have also been games about Vader, Skywalker and all the others, that can be called "poor” at best.

Join us on this trip to a galaxy far, far away. In the first part of this series you will find the games that have been published between the years 1983 and 2000. Today we introduce the games that have been published since 2000.
