Gigabyte EX58-Extreme: New Core i7 board in the PCGH Test Lab

Author: Daniel Möllendorf (Nov 11, 2008) - After the two Asus models P6T-Deluxe and Rampage II Extreme, the MSI board Eclipse and Intel's DX58SO (Codename: Smackover) another motherboard with an X58 chip arrived at our office: The Gigabyte EX58-Extreme has, like the EP45-Extreme, an additional cooling module for the Northbridge. Power and Reset button as well as diagnostic LEDs have been placed on the board. You can find additional details in the subtitles of the other pictures.
