While most devices of the competitors are equipped with the single-core version of the Atom, the i945GCt-DN is running with the bigger CPU. The Atom 330 has two cores with 1.6 GHz each. The graphics calculation is handled by the GMA 950 unit integrated into the Intel 945GS chipset.
Because of the limited space available the
i945GCt-DN has only one PCI-Express x1 slot and only one slot for a single DDR2 memory module with a maximal capacity of 2 GiByte. Besides that up to three SATA II drives can be connected and Aopen added a 5.1 sound chip, four USB 2.0 ports and a 100 Mbit LAN port.
