The new quad-core CPU is said to be called Core 2 Quad Q7500 and is supposed to run with 2.6 GHz and 200 MHz FSB. While the 13x multiplier is rather high for an Intel quad-core, the L2 cache is comparatively small with 2,048 KiByte. The TDP of the 45 nanometer product is 65 watt.
Tcmagazine.com says that now further details, like a release date, are available, but estimates that the price will be below $150.
