HAWX versus Ace Combat 6 - Visual comparison

Many flight simulation fans hope that the forthcoming Tom Clancy's HAWX will revive the genre on the PC. A comparison with the console title Ace Combat 6 reveals if Ubisoft's game is up-to-date in visual matters.

The flight simulation genre on the PC hasn't seen many titles for quite some time now. Ubisoft's forthcoming HAWX could bring thrilling dogfights back to the screen. Our sister magazine PC Games compared the newcomer with the console only Ace Combat 6 in order to check if HAWX is visually competitive. Several comparative screenshots reveal the graphical differences between the two flight simulations.

I must admit that Ace Combat 6 graphics is soo damn beautiful. But, HAWX plane are more detailed. Yes HAWX is an arcade game. But, damn! Really great gameplay.

AC 6 looks better.... HAWX seems to have failed before it has even come out.

It looks like an arcade game and seems to have worse graphics than a console game!

DCS:Black Shark is the ultimate "game" simulation with no compromises. Its an anbelievable achievement and a proof of what PC gaming can achieve. I have no doubt that this is an arcade game.http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/
