Not only the big players like Scythe but also the competitors like Akasa Spire, Thermaltake and Maxcube introduce prototypes and new retail products at the Cebit.

Thermaltake adds the Sorb and the Duorb Extreme to the Orb series. The sorb has two anodized copper heatpipes, aluminum fins and a blue LED fan. The Duorb is made from the same material but has two fans and is said to be compatible with the GTX 280. Besides the already known Vortexx devices, Akasa introduced new products like the Freedom Force, which is equipped with four copper heatpipes that transfer the heat to lots of aluminum fins - two 80 mm fans are responsible for a steady airstream.
The SP276S2 from Spire remembers of Zalman's successful VF900, while the full aluminum SP202S2 looks rather like a design study - according to Spire it nevertheless is able to easily deal with middle-class graphics cards. Furthermore we discovered a compact cooler from Maxcube that has two heatpipes. We already contacted the producers to get samples of the coolers as soon as they become available.
