With the X series Sony wants to pit itself with Apple's iPod Touch. The pictures of the new OLED display walkman have been very promising so far, now first specifications are known.

Meanwhile on the
Sonystyle website the complete
specifications of the NWZ-1060 have been published. The new Sony walkman offers an OLED display including touchscreen as well as up to 32 GByte memory (the NWZ-X1050 has 16 GByte) and the same web browser as the PSP. The walkman can play almost all important audio (MP3, AAC, WMA) and video formats (AVC, H.264, MPEG4, WMV). A Wifi interface (b/g) completes the positive (first) impression of the player.
Prices and availability have not been announced yet.
