HAWX versus Google Earth - Virtuality check

Tom Clancy's HAWX is said to have one of the most realistic terrain models and ground textures seen in a game. PC Games Hardware compared the game with the Satellite imagery delivered by Google Earth.
For Tom Clancy's HAWX Ubisoft cooperated with GeoEye, which is one of the companies providing satellite pictures for Google Earth. Due to the high resolution satellite imagery the game is said to have one of the most realistic terrain conversions in video games ever.

PC Games Hardware put the game to the test and compared Tom Clancy's HAWX with the material delivered by Goolge Earth. In our gallery we got several screenshots showing the same pieces of land as they can be found in Google Earth and HAWX. Below you can also watch a video with additional information about the cooperation between Ubisoft and GeoEye.
