Although Intel's dual-core Atom has been released some time ago, systems with the processor are quite rare. Gigabyte now introduces a new motherboard with the small processor.

With the GA-GC330UD Gigabyte is introducing a new motherboard with an Intel dual-core Atom processor. The chipset is Intel's 945GC. Besides the Atom 330, which is running at 1.6 GHz, the board offers one IDE and two SATA ports for optical drives and hard drives as well as one PCI slot. A single RAM slot can be equipped with up to 2 GiByte DDR2 memory. The I/O panel offers PS/2 connectors for mouse and keyboard, one VGA port, four USB ports and connectors for 5.1 channel sound.
