The post apocalyptical adventures in the Fallout universe continue: Bethesda announced New Vegas which is developed by Obsidian.

New Vegas will be the next part of the Fallout series. But it won't be the fourth part. The game is intended to be a spin-off only. Obsidian is responsible for the development and Bethesda wants to publish New Vegas in 2010 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
New Vegas will be based on the same engine as Fallout 3 and the gaming principle will be similar, too. Only the location is changed: The adventures take place in the gambling and entertainment resort Las Vegas. Obsidian has been responsible for games like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords and Neverwinter Nights 2. Actually quite a good omen.
Up to now there are no details about Fallout 4 and only the rumor that Bethesda is working on the title is still around.
