Besides MotoGP the Superbike World Championship is the most popular motorbike racing series worldwide. Developer Milestone now presents new screenshots of the racing game SBK 09 which attracts attention thanks to its visual qualities.
Since last year's game much has happened: New 3D environment, new teams, new and improved racetracks, new gameplay structure, new gaming modes and a modified interface. The pit lanes have been revised and look even more realistic now. Like in a good simulation the player can customize his motorbike in many ways.
The single player provides five game modes: Quick Race, Training, Race Weekend, Championship and Challenges. The multiplayer part will have three modes: Quickrace, Championship und Team Championship. Additionally there will be a downloadable Time Attack mode.
For the first time in the history of motorbike racing games SBK 09 will feature damages to riders and bikes. SBK 09 provides many customizable settings and is therefore made for beginners as well as simulation enthusiasts.
SBK 09 Superbike World Championship will be released for PC, PS2, PS3, PSP and Xbox 360 in May 2009.
