DirectX 10 versus DirectX 11

Bioshock: DirectX 11 fake video works a circuit

On Youtube there is an alleged Nvidia video that is supposed to show the difference between DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 in Bioshock.
The video shows ingame sequences of Bioshock in two versions: DirectX 10 versus DirectX 11. The interesting thing about the video is that the clip is dated to September 2007 so even before the first DirectX 11 SDK had been released.

But currently many users think that the video, regardless of its age, shows material from Bioshock 2 and that Nvidia gives a preview on a DirectX 11 version. We estimate that the same video has been modified, either in the game or with editing software. The alleged DirectX 11 version is extremely bright - possibly caused by activated HDR and/or increased color contrast forced in an editor.
