Detailed Larrabee Die shot shown by Intel

The Intel CTO showed a detailed Die shot of the Larrabee chip during a presentation at the opening of the Visual Computing Institute of the Saarland University (Germany).

At the opening of the Intel Visual Computing Institute at the Saarland University in Germany Intel's Chief Technology Officer, Justin Rattner, explained the calculating power required for Visual Computing and presented Intel's Nehalem and Larrabee processors as possible solutions.

A shot of a Larrabee Die that hadn't been shown until now attracted the attention of the PC Games Hardware editors on site. On the picture the individual cores of the Larrabee chip are visible. Have fun speculating about the picture!

judging from that picture,its to die for(haha :P)...seriously though,ive read quite a few articles on larabbee,and im still not really entirely sure to whom the cpu is aimed?
