The developers of Stalker, GSC, are currently working on an add-on with the name Call of Pripyat. It's scheduled for fall 2009 and will be based on X-Ray-Engine 1.6.

Update: August 21, 2009 Two videos of Stalker: Call of Pripyat have been released. One of the clips gives an impression of the game's atmosphere while the other video even reveals that the game will be released in November.
Background: Stalker: Call of Pripyat Call of Pripyat is staged in the name giving city near Chernobyl. The plo starts directly after the end of Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. You play the role of an Ukraine secury agent and uncover the circumstances of a failed operation. Call of Pripyat will be powered by the latest X-Ray engine version 1.6.
