If your bank account is bursting with money and you are looking for a really impressive input device, you should take a closer look at this jewel: Each keyboard is handmade and labeled with an unique serial number. Besides the high price of 1,660 Euros this also affects the time one has to wait for the Optimus Maximus. You have to be patient for months if not years before you get your OLED keyboard. We were kindly provided with a sample by getDigital.

More pictures and detailed information (German language) about the Optimus Maximus can be found on OS-Informer.

Would be nice while working - but therefore I neither need color nor light emitting keys nor high refreshrates and certainly not larger-then-usual keys. I also don't additional, space consuming keys, if I can have third/fourth functions on literally every key without getting confused.
But if sometime in the future someone gets the idea to do this with e-ink (as shown by some prototypes of mobile devices) and throws in solar-powered wireless technology for good measure, then my trusty cymotion might face end-of-life. (especially as e-ink should be much cheaper. And if they would be able to reduce costs to a 300-400$ level, then they should literally crash the why-the-****-do-we-have-several-alphabets-with-hundreds-of-letters-each asian market, leading to production numbers, that will reduce prices by another 2 to 3 times)

It's really nice , yet ridiculously priced.
