Google wants to rough up the browser market with Chrome. The new version 2.0 is said to be much faster and more stable. Some new features have been integrated as well.

Google has released its proprietary web browser Chrome in version 2.0. Users with automatic Google update will be informed. The browser can certainly be manually installed as well.
Chrome version 2.0 is said to be much faster than before. Especially the optimizations under Javascript version 8 are improving the performance. Even scaling should be much better now - Google promises 30 percent.
The browser comes with new features, too: zooming of entire websites, automatic suggestions in the address bar and many smaller adjustments. Due to fixing more than 300 bugs the browser should provide much more stability.
