Modder Fakefactory does some overhaul for his famous Cinematic Mod for Half-Life 2, which seems to change the look into a more dark atmosphere.

Fakefactory currently works on Cinematic Mod version 10. He currently focuses on filling the outdoor areas, which are rather empty for today's standards, with some eye catchers and tries to create a colder and more unfriendly atmosphere. In order to do so he also activates the fog again to recapture the original feeling. The maps become a little more post-apocalyptic which you can see in the comparison pictures.
Furthermore there are some new hills and Skybox transitions here and there so that the atmosphere is not ruined by mountains popping into existence.
