On the Internet a video was published that offers a direct comparison between the Cryengine 2 and its direct successor the Cryengine 3. The creator of the clip adds detailed information about the individual differences of the graphics effects in between the sequences that are shown in the 3 minute video.

this was like watching a ufo video and its showing proof its real

but yeah pc owns

cryengine 3 is just optimized for consoles/ low vram pc

that was a gr8 vid...i wasnt too sure who'd made that video..first thought it was crytek,then thought why the fxxk would they be slamming their own technology lol.
anyway,think i agree with most of the points made in the video..pc dx10 v high blows the other out of the water no doubt,but considering ce3 is running on 4-5 yr old hardware with bugger all RAM,its a pretty good achievment.
