Risen is developed for the PC and Xbox 360 and is supposed to be released in Q4 2009. Deep Silver published four so called mood videos. Those clips show for example graphics effects and time of day simulation. Risen is said to have much fewer loading lags than the Gothic 3 but still offer impressive graphics. In the gallery below you can find the best screenshots that have been released by the developers. We also have the four mood clips as well as a comparison of different time of day settings.

Update: June 22, 2009
Risen will be released on October 2, 2009. Although the publishers target a worldwide release on that date, it has only been confirmed for Germany up to now.
