ArmA 2 in perfection

ArmA 2: Maxed out fighter planes and helicopters

The military simulation ArmA 2 offers great graphics - especially helicopters and airplanes look most realistic. PC Games Hardware presents some worth seeing screenshots.

ArmA 2 will finally hit the markets outside of Europe soon. The game has intensive system requirements, but also offers an impressive visual quality at high settings. On screenshots aircrafts look just great. User Jay.Gee took shots of several planes and helicopters that are quite similar to their possible real-life originals.

Some of the best pictures can be found in our gallery. If you want to know more about ArmA 2 take a look at our ArmA 2 graphics cards benchmarks or the CPU performance tests. The game, will hit the US markets on July 7, but since ArmA 2 has already been released in Germany more than four weeks ago there already are some modding projects.

A patch has been released for the retail game to fix AA settings and stuff.I'm sure that will help, but only so much.

The game is meant to be hyper-realistic. Real life is kind of washed out, too.

One of the main features they advertise is multi-core support, you would think they can back up their claim.

I got only aware of this game recently, and from videos it does look great. I've been waiting for realistic FPS since OFP (didn't know and didn't play ARMA).

I might buy when they iron out the so-many-bugs i've been hearing about, and performance, also heard the AI has its problems...
