Nathan Spencer is swinging back

Bionic Commando: System requirements and comparison video

The system requirements of the Bionic Commando PC version have been revealed. Furthermore there is a comparison video that demonstrates the differences between the PC and the Xbox 360 version.

In Bionic Commando you play the role of Nathan Spencer and save the world with the powers of your bionic arm. The cool gadget has lots of useful features like a grappling hook that allows you to swing from roof to roof like Spiderman or deal with enemies at distance. Like in the classic arcade game the protagonist uses his hook to travel through bombed street canyons - but today this is visualized in 3D.

Bionic Commando will presumably be released in July. The system requirements read as follows:
Minimal Specs:
• CPU: 2.4 GHz (two cores)
• Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 7800 or Ati Radeon X1900
• RAM: 2 GiByte
• Hard drive: 8 GByte

Recommended Specs:
• CPU: 2.4 GHz (four cores)
• Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 9800+ or Ati Radeon HD 3800
• RAM: 2 GiByte
• Input: Xbox 360 Controller
A video at gametrailers.com demonstrates the difference between the PC and the Xbox 360 version.

Dx 10 , O.S. 64 Bits optimezed for, as behind the cover its written.

Basically, the framerate: On consoles, this game is limited to 30 fps. When the actions arrives, the games goes easily behind 22 fps in Xbox 360 and 19 on ps3.

I mean, they can record another video about Oblivion or Fallout 3, yes...but knowing PC players the game can be graphicly upgrade (HD textures, longer distance of view, etc)....I has no much sense to do a comparative of this kind as gamertrailers do.

Just look at Gothic 3 with Community Patch or STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl with Complete 2009 mod: the look much prettier & good than in its realesed day!

But in my modest opinion, "Xbox 360 vs WIndows PC" is like to say nothing: second one is an open hardware platform, so without any kind of specification, looks like video made for all "Eric Cartman"´s: too simple to have in consideration and too much generalized.

If Gothic 3 was released on...would it means nowdays PC gamers will not play the game without any graphic Upgrade? Because I willl upgrade if I can. And console version is always graphicly the same.

That is why I love PC!
