I know. It's the friggin' motion blur that does it in Crysis/Warhead. It makes the game so damned realistic. The same goes for the sound effects that go along with the explosion by the way. The first time a grenade popped right next to me when I had my gaming headset on I almost shat a brick...

I think Crysis Warhead has some of the best explosions I've seen in a game for a long time, just take this for example.
