Arcania - A Gothic Tale is the latest offspring of the Gothic franchise. The highly anticipated role-playing game has now been delayed to 2010 by publisher Jowood. Since the game is supposed to become an AAA title for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, it has been decided on to length the timeframe for the development.
Jowood and the developers at Spellbound had already released several
screenshots of Arcania - A Gothic tale, as well as
gameplay videos. Besides that the
minimal system requirements had also been unveiled.

The Austrian publisher, JoWooD today announced that the release of its awaited action-RPG title, ArcaniA - A Gothic Tale has been postponed to 2010.
ArcaniA - A Gothic Tale, the next opus of the Gothic series, is planned to come on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. In its commitment to release a AAA title, JoWooD has committed substantial extra development budget for ArcaniA - A Gothic Tale to be a flagship title and one of the best RPG releases of 2010.
