Just recently Sapphire introduced a Radeon HD 4770 with a custom cooler from Arctic cooling. Now they present a Radeon HD 4670 with the Accelero L7, which is based on the Accelero L2 of Sapphire's HD 4770. On full workload the 92 millimeter fan is said to run at 2000 rpm and reach a loudness of only 0.4 sone.
The technical specifications don't differ from a normal HD 4670. The graphics chip has 320 Shader units and is clocked to 750 MHz. The 512 MiByte DDR§ video memory are linked with an 128 bit interface and the frequency is set to 800 MHz. Besides VGA and DVI the HD 4670 also offers a HDMI output.
Currently there is no information about a release date or a recommended retail price for Sapphire's new card, but given the price of 90 Euros for the
Ati Radeon HD 4770 with Accelero L2 Pro it is to be expected that the HD 4670 will be sold for less than 90 Euros.
