Assassin's Creed 2 has not been finished yet and especially the delayed PC version will take some more time, but the developers at Ubisoft Montreal are already thinking about Assassin's Creed 3. According to media reports a setting during World War II is not impossible, although the theme seems to be a little overused.
But the mental acrobatics at Ubisoft spawn even more ideas. Why shouldn't a female assassin appear in the next part of the series? After all it has been the women who kept the economies running in the Second World War because the men had to serve at the front. Ubisoft's Sébastian Puel explicitly mentions France and England in an
interview with CVG. Furthermore Assassin's Creed 3 won't be the end for the series since the basic plot gives a lot of possibilities.
