Ati Radeon HD 5870: Lean & Mean - Shipping Today, AMD frets about Nvidia's Fermi architecture that had been announced at the GTC 2009. As usual for such presentations the advantages of one's own product are spotlighted - sometimes even in ludicrous ways.
Especially juicy is the fact that AMD criticizes the "PDF status” of Fermi on almost every slide: While Nvidia has only
announced the architecture, the AMD DriectX 11 graphics cards are
already on sale.
