World Records are set to be broken. Now an overclocker was able to achieve a FSB of more than 740 MHz for the first time ever.

In order to reach a FSB of over 700 MHz all components of a system have to be fine tuned into almost perfect harmony. The overclocker
Benny Lodewijk was able to exactly that with the following parts which he used for his record attempt:
• Processor Intel Core2 Duo E8500 C0
• Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-Extreme F5 BIOS
• Memory ADATA DDR3-1900 CL9 1 GB D9GTR
• ATI Radeon X1300Pro PCI-E
• PSU Enermax Revolution85+ 1200W
• CPU and NB cooled by LN2
The northbridge was cooled with an improvised container for liquid nitrogen to about minus 50 degrees Celsius in order to squeeze out every last megahertz. A
CPU-Z Validation confirms the FSB frequency of 740.75 MHz that
Benny Lodewijk reached and thus set a new World Record. Pictures of the record setup can be found in the
