Modern Warfare 2: System requirements revealed

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled for release on November 10. Now the system requirements of the game were revealed by the online store Gamestop. According to their website the latest part of the Call of Duty series imposes the following requirements to the PC:

• Operating System: Windows Vista/XP
• Processor: AMD 64 3200+ or Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz or better
• RAM: 512 MB RAM (XP) / 1 GB RAM (VISTA)
• Video Card: Shader 3.0 or better 256 MB Nvidia Geforce 6600GT / ATI Radeon 1600XT or better
• Hard Drive Space: 16 GB free hard drive space

Developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision had to endure a lot of criticism lately. The announcement that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 won't support dedicated servers or mods created by the fans, caused a huge uproar in the community and a petition for dedicated servers in Modern Warfare 2 has already been signed by more than 140,000 people.
