Left 4 Dead 2: Demo available on Steam - Versus workaround

Valve offers the demo of Left 4 Dead 2 on Steam. People who pre-ordered the game were able to test it since late October. Now everyone has a chance to play two missions of the Parish campaign and use some of the new weapons like the Frying Pan, the Electric Guitar or the AK 47 assault rifle. All that is required is a free Steam account.

It is also interesting to hear that a modder was able to unlock the Versus Mode. Thus it is possible to play on the side of the Infected. To do so a plug-in for the Host and several console commands for the Clients are necessary. Screenshots can be found in our gallery below. For more information see l4dmods.com.
