About a year ago one of the moderators in our German forum, nemetona, started a journal, called "[Langzeittagebuch] Cosmos S goes Mora - die PCGHX DailySoap]", in which he presents and explains the modifications he does on his PC. It doesn't matter if the case "only” gets a new paint or if the cables are sleeved, nemetona keeps the community up-to-date. He even performs complex tasks like modding the power supply unit and changes the hardware individual components in order to create a dream PC.
