You don't like arranging several displays right next to each other but still want to get an absolute widescreen feeling? And you probably have 6500 USD at hand? Then we have good news for you. The Ostendo CDM43 is on sale and delivers a resolution of 2880 x 900 pixels on a 43 inch curved display.

The display, which has attracted attention since early 2008, has finally left show status and is now available on the Ostendo website. Below we listed some technical specifications of the CDM43:

Ostendo advertises that the LCD is compatible to almost any graphics card and doesn't require an additional driver (Nvidia: Geforce 8800 and above, AMD: HD 3000 and above). Furthermore a lot of games also support the CRVD, among them are Need for Speed: Shift, Unreal Tournament 3 and world of Warcraft - a full list is available on the Ostendo website.

Besides pictures there also is video material showing the Ostendo CDM43 in action. In one of the clips three of the CRVD displays are used to run the DCS: Black Shark helicopter simulation.
