The system requirements of the two Frostbite Engine based games Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1943 have been released.

Gordon Van Dyke revealed the system requirements of the Frostbite engine which two forthcoming games of the Battlefield franchise are based on. So to run Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1943 a PC will have to meet the
specs listed below. While the console version of BF 1943 has already been released, PC gamers will have to wait until January 2010 before they can participate. Bad Company 2 is scheduled for release in early March on PC Xbox 260 and PS3.
Minimum Frostbite PC Specifications for BFBC2 & BF1943• Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz
• Main memory: 2GB
• Graphics card: GeForce 7800 GT / ATI X1900
• Graphics memory: 256MB
• OS: Windows XP
• Free HDD space: 15GB for Digital Version, 10GB for Disc Version (BFBC2); 10GB for Digital Version, 4GB for Disc Version (BF1943)
Recommended Frostbite PC Specifications for BFBC2 & BF1943• Processor: Quadcore
• Main memory: 2GB
• Graphics card: GeForce GTX 260
•Graphics memory: 512MB
• OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
• Free HDD space: 15GB for Digital Version, 10GB for Disc Version (BFBC2); 10GB for Digital Version, 4GB for Disc Version (BF1943)
Just Gordon Van Dyke also announced that the
PC Beta of Battlefield Bad Company 2 has not been canceled, but was only set to a new schedule.
