Up to now it is still unofficial but apparently Acer wants to release real "hardcore” gaming notebook. According to unconfirmed rumors the company wants to equip the laptop with the fastest components that are currently available on the mobile market. Among them are the DirectX 11 compatible Mobility Radeon HD 5850 chip with 1 GiByte GDDR5 video memory, which hasn't even been announced officially yet, but is said to be released in Spring 2010, too, as well as Intel's mobile Core i7-720QM.

The specification list furthermore contains a 18.4 inch LC display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), eight GiByte DDR3 RAM and two 640 GByte hard drives. Four USB 2.0 ports, WLAN (IEEE 802.11n), Bluetooth, HDMI and a Express card slot are included, too.

Fudzilla.com also wants to have learned that the notebook with its eight cell battery pack weights impressive 4.6 kilograms. A price has not been noted and the release date is said to be scheduled for January.
