ArmA 2 Patch 1.05: Free DLC Eagle Wing plus Trailer

Patch 1.05 for ArmA 2 which is said to be released in December will deliver more than just bug fixes. With the campaign Eagle wing the gamers are supposed to get something new to do.

New information about Patch 1.05 for ArmA 2 has been released by publisher Bohemian Interactive. The update is said to be released in December and won't only fix bugs in the game but also introduce a new mini campaign called Eagle Wing.

In this campaign the gamers plays the pilot of an AH-64 Apache attack chopper who has to deal with the escalation of the conflict in Chernarus. A trailer and some screenshots of the new content can be found below.

Not a big fan of vehicles in FPS games, I've done many hours in ARMA2 and have only flown the chopper about 3 times, the plane about 2 times!

Also dont like tanks and APC's etc... the only vehicle which I use is the jeep/hummer obviously!

Dont know why... but I've just never been into vehicles in FPS games, prefer infantry combat so this new mini campaign is welcome but I would rather another 2 or 3 missions like the one in the campaign.

I've been playing around with the beta patches and I can say that many people will be very impressed with how much better the game now runs
