Civilization 5 reviewed - DirectX 11 highly welcome

Sid Meier's Civilization 5 tested: Technological innovations in game mechanics and enhanced DirectX-11-appearance shall help the fifth part of the Civilization series become a great success. PC Games Hardware puts it to the test.

 PCGH-Score: 1.6

Civilization 5 im Test
The fifth part of Sid Meier's Civilization series is as addictive as its predecessors. The player permanently wants to know what technology to research next to give his historical alter ego an edge conquering more space. Along with diplomatic and political strategies as well as strategically relevant placement of big cities the turn-based fighting system guarantees you deep strategic experience.

Like its predecessors, Civilization 5 offers many possibilities of creating the in-game world. Although the game in its course is getting increasingly complex, it is never becoming complicated and it won't overtax even newbies in that kind of game. Other positive aspects to Civilization 5 are its long time to play and that it is worth playing several times.
