Gothic 4 Arcania: New system requirements

Jowood changed the system requirements for Gothic 4 Arcania. PC Games Hardware shows the new hurdles for your PC.

Gothic 4 Arcania is developed by Spellbound and published by Jowood. The creators of the previous Gothic parts are currently working on the role-playing game Risen which is a direct competitor to Gothic 4.

The fantasy RPG is supposed to be released in October 2010. The new Gothic 4 Arcania website reveals new minimum and recommended system requirements. They differ a lot especially in the recommended part. The overview explains the differences.

Gothic 4 Arcania is said to take place ten years after the plot of Gothic 3 and will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The PS3 version takes longer than the PC and Xbox Gothic 4.

Yes I agree with you, a CPU/GPU benchmark is needed to see how many cores are really needed ? and how new and old GPU perform in this game.
