Since November, 09, shooter fans have been playing Call of Duty: Black Ops. Especially PC Gamers might very much appreciate features like dedicated servers and a bunch of tools for flawless multiplayer experience - unlike seen in Modern Warfare 2. But still, there are some initial difficulties with the Multiplayer.

Since the second part of the series, Call of Duty has been based on Infinity Wards' homebrew-engine. By now, they count the fourth generation, naming it "IW 4.0". The lighting system has been improved especially for Black ops. Furthermore, the texture streaming has been changed in order to make the characters look more realistic. Also, the have altered the physics, the looks of the jungle and water and the fire effects. Wherever there is light, there is a shadow, which is also true in Call of Duty: Black Ops. In the following gallery, we'll show you the tops and the flops of the game's graphics. Spoiler Alert!!

I'd like to see a benchmark on the older dual core..
X2 4800... and faster...

Its the same engine as COD 4... just wondering how much a preformance hit it is.
No wheres on the net do they bench anything for this game lesser than core i7.. which doesnt matter to most of the people. Since most people still have core 2 duo and X2's or less than core i7...

i can run world at war fine with my x2 4800... what about this one?

and on top of that they have no playable demo...

I'm hearing lots of reports of multiplayer being really glitchy, some so bad it's unplayable. Yet another reason for me to delay getting this. Anyone else confirm this??

Looks like mild improvements from MW2 and those sky and terrain textures definitely need to go. Hopefully super antialiasing will help but I probably wont pay full price for this game due to consolitis. :P
